Job Summary: Drug Testing Collector

This position includes the primary work of conducting specimen collection of urine and hair, and traveling to client locations for onsite drug testing and research and summarize background information for clients and the secondary work of producing reports accurately and efficiently, providing quality customer service to our clients.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts specimen collections of urine, oral, or hair including direct observations if required.

  • Performs on-site collection at various locations.

  • Enters client data into program management database. Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and all necessary information is captured at the time of the collection.

  • Engages in regular interaction with clients.

  • Search files, databases or reference materials to obtain needed information.

  • Produce accurate, detailed reports and cross reference information to ensure everything is correct.

  • Manage personal queue and complete research including database searches, phone interviews and records checks.

  • Answer the telephone and provide quality customer service to clients.

  • Receive faxes and enter orders into the system.

  • Engages in regular and periodic reviews with supervisor.  Accepts direction.

  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Maintains confidentiality.

  • Early morning travel to onsite testing facilities to perform drug testing and flexibility to undertake assignments and travel to collection locations at short notice.

  • Meets productivity standards

  • Ensures all paperwork is filled out correctly and all necessary information has been captured at the time of collection

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Proficient in the use of computers; especially office software such as word processing and spreadsheets.

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.

  • Good interpersonal skills with an emphasis in customer service

  • Ability to work early mornings

  • Works well in a team environment

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
